Elected best sommelier 2011 by the Suisse Gault&Millau, Jean-Christophe Ollivier, bought with his wife Françoise Ollivier, the hotel restaurant « Le Pont Bernet » at the Medoc Vineyards doors ; an institution, implanted here dsince 1896.

Master sommelier at the « Union of French Sommelier », he was the last 8 years head sommelier at the prestigious geneva palace « Le Beau Rivage ». One of the greatest cave of Europe.

Owners since the 14th march 2011, they engaged many works to change the whole establishment.

First of all the new wood terrace for about 60 persons, the landscaped and lightened park. On the side cave, the master sommelier, already get 250 references including 50 champagnes.

In the kitchen, Françoise Ollivier, whose the career began at 13 years old, accompanies Philippe Damas, already here since its learning in 1968.

So there are 2 heads directing the kitchen, helped by a young and dynamic team. All passionned, like Maryse Damas, the great-granddaughter of Marthe Eyquem, the Pont Bernet founder.
